Singer / Songwriter
Jeremy Todd plays originals with deep roots in Honky-Tonk, Americana, and Folk Music delivered with a modern Indie appeal.
With a powerful voice and impressive vocal range, Jeremy often performs solo accompanying himself on acoustic guitar. His background as a professional touring drummer provides him with a strong rhythmic sense and a passionate, purpose driven songwriting ability as evidenced in his 2016 debut EP Conversations.
Conversations was recorded in Nashville at Paper Mill Studios with Mike Marsh (Avett Brothers, Dashboard Confessional) engineering and producing, and features Jeremy's songs fleshed out into full-fledged honky-tonk string band classics.
Hailing from the black dirt small towns of Central Illinois, Jeremy has been dubbed "The Real Honky" or sometimes known as "J. Mac Honky," delivering songs that are true to the heart with an honest perspective not found just anywhere.
He is currently recording a full length album at Kingsize Soundlabs in Chicago, collaborating with extremely talented musicians, and continuing to write his story while drawing inspiration from life events.
