Singer / Songwriter
D'Arcy is an indie pop/rock singer and songwriter, as well as a multi-instrumentalist, from Illinois.
Writing her own music and lyrics since the age of thirteen, D'Arcy released her first EP in February of 2019 while still in high school. The professionally recorded and engineered album called Fake features her original songs "Poison," "Shatter," and "Paper Flowers."
D'Arcy often performs solo playing the piano, ukulele, and guitar to support her powerful and versatile singing voice. She has additionally created a band (also called D'Arcy) which includes drums and acoustic instruments played by close friends and collaborators that recognize the talent and artfulness of her music. The band also allows for more explorations of popular cover tunes that let audiences catch a glimpse of her ever-evolving style and influences.
Drawing inspiration from contemporary artists such as Dodie Clark, Cavetown, and Blanks, and mixing it with the crafty songwriting of classic artists like Paul McCartney and John Lennon, D'Arcy generates music that is relatable, emotional, and smart.
As D'Arcy continues to balance her musical passions with work and school, she is constantly expanding her knowledge and repertoire looking for more venues to share her unique perspective, performing anywhere from small coffee houses to local music festivals.
