Joseph "Eastwood" Frisch plays roots-oriented blues rock and Americana music with a charismatic, Southern charm that will hook you with its simplicity and keep you listening because of its sincerity.
Performing on guitars that were hand made by him and his dad, Eastwood displays his talent for writing deep, down home blues with a natural-ness that makes them seem like timeless classics.
As an artist, musician, writer, and film maker, Eastwood Frisch is a creative force of nature. In addition to self-producing copious amounts of original music the last two decades, he has also found time to host a radio show, "Chillin' With Bob Dylan," on Carbondale, Illinois-based WDBX, and also create the Eastwood Frisch Radio podcast channel which includes "Eastwood's Old Time Radio" (traditional American roots music) and "Eastwood Loves Everything" (improv. comedy).
Currently, he is writing, directing, and scoring a full-length movie entitled "Three Knee Deep" to be released in 2020.
Add to that tons of work as a visual artist, creating posters, shirts, and album art for bands, as well as independent comic book art and tattoo flash art, and you begin see a pattern of artistic proclivity.
Eastwood Frisch has supported and played with such artists as George Thorogood, Joan Jett, Blackberry Smoke, Jamie Johnson, Erik Church, and Kid Rock.
